Bookies offer £8m for adverts about addiction

Betting companies, broadcasters and advertisers have offered to fund an £8 million campaign to raise awareness of addiction before a long-awaited government review into the industry.

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is expected to publish its findings in the next few weeks on issues including the growing number of betting adverts on television.
